Massage is effective at managing acute and chronic pain and supports other pain treatment.

Treatment will typically be a one hour session consisting of a postural and physical assessment, 30-45 minutes massage with manipulation treatment, and aftercare advice.

Your first visit:

A full assessment is undertaken - this includes taking a medical history and subjective and physical examination of your complaint or problem. Results will then be discussed with you to develop a treatment plan which will be individually tailored to suit your needs. This will take into account your lifestyle, leisure activities and general health. This session will take approximately one hour (including treatment).

Once the treatment has solved your initial problem your therapist will advise on aftercare and the importance of PREVENTION of the reoccurrence of the problem (which is very common).

We MOT our cars and bikes annually – so why not our bodies?  Consider CG Sports Therapy to be your bodymechanic!!

Sports massage supports other treatments – from physiotherapy and osteopathy, to chiropractor.

One 1 hour session may be enough to get you on your way but typically 3 to 5 one hour sessions should be adequate.
